There’s been a satisfying flow to my “day job” work lately, curating and selling media out of the basement and garage, and a lot of that has to do with the spaces I’ve been making myself clear this year.
I brought up a box from the latest haul tonight, a solid chunk of CDs including promotional singles, box sets, radio station advance discs in cardboard sleeves – an overwhelming pile. But I have a staging shelf for that now. I counted as I shelved – 165 pieces. The empty box went back downstairs, and in my mind, the next two days of listing slotted themselves. I’ve got some work to do keeping the newly-listed stuff filed and sorted, but piece counts and staging areas make it feel manageable.
