[Remember Facebook Notes? Neither does anyone else, but I published a thing there on this day in 2011. It’s likely to get lost forever if I don’t collect it here, and it fits in with my recent musings about archiving, entropy, and the dissolution of art and experience. Plus, there’s always that chance one of you has the Meat Wheel demo laying around.

I now have two partly-finished short stories, so you might see them Friday and Saturday, or I might keep kicking the can down the road. Who knows? I like both of the premises but I feel like I’m writing them with oven mitts on. Here’s hoping for some clarity in the coming days.]

I can’t find a photo of the Daily Double in Akron online, but the building is now apparently a brewpub with 69 beers on tap. I’d say “nice,” but is it?

Even in this age of overdocumentation, in the era of infovomit, as we wade upstream like spawning salmon against the tide of factoids that threaten to recursively crush us under the stale couch fart miasma of our own flabby minutiae... there are places and things that never got written down, that will no longer exist once your brain stops replaying them, that probably weren't so spiffy after all but are given that extra patina of radness from not having been filmed from fifteen angles for someone's everfucking video blog.

This tape will self-destruct in five to seventy years, depending on your cholesterol level.
